I caught Transformers 2 today! I don’t think Megan Fox is a guy, in every way she just looks like a girl. Anyway the movie was great except that I nearly fell asleep somewhere nearing the end cos I went back for prefects camp today. I overslept and only reached sch at 930am when the camp started at 9am and the planning comm went down at 8am, I am super sorry! Anyway I never quite liked prefects camp since the time I was inside the planning comm. Well because the time is too short for any serious fun interaction, too bad, no choice. But I do hope the councillors and the prefects all had fun together so you’ll build better kuo chuan school ties? I don’t know. I am a bit like very tired now. I just came here to show off that I watched Transformers cos actually I hate the show. HAHA BYE I want to watch Brides War and finish my homework. Bloody lots of MATH!

在很久很久以前，有一对母子相依为命。母亲很疼爱儿子，以致对他百般呵护纵容。有一次，儿子偷了邻居的东西回来。母亲不但不责备，还夸奖他聪明能干。于是，儿子一发不可收拾，最后竟然发展成了一名江洋大盗。后来他被捉，判了死刑。临刑前，痛不欲生的母亲来看儿子，没想到儿子疯狂地咬伤了母亲，并指责她说: “你生养了我，却不教育我。如果当初我偷了邻居的东西你不是夸奖我，而责备我，让我明辨是非，我怎么会有今天的下场呢? 我好恨你呀!”

I took this off one of my higher chinese papers, and it was the first time I’ve read that. When we were young, I guess everyone were told that 打是疼，骂是爱.. we all know that but we never quite comprehended why. Or maybe we were too much into thinking that we are always right. When I first read this, it related to me very well because, well, my mother and sister are right now on a cold war. Because she is my eldest sister, sometimes I tend to learn from her. I agree that sometimes our parents may nag a lot and get on our nerves..we may quarrel..but that passage came across very well. I read it more than a zillion times, partially because I have to do a summary of it and I couldn’t cut it down to 80 chinese characters after the 10zillionth time. It was too well written for me to cut down on it. In a way, I wish I had been a better daughter.. In another, I wish I came across this earlier. So now I guess school’s not all about books and stuffs, but at the same time, maybe you’ll get enlightenment like I do. I thought if only I knew this earlier, then again, I thought if I were to know this earlier, I might not have comprehend it the way I do now. Looking back at this holiday, it might not have been the most productive, fruitful or fun, but in other aspects, I recieved a lot of love from my family. If I were to say, my relationship between both my parents became better and I am glad. Perhaps it’s because I am not as busy as I used to be, running in and then out of the house. The moment I get home, I log onto my computer, stare at the television screen and everything else except talking to my family. The least I did was to show bad attitude thanks to an awful school day or an extremely workloaded day. In the past, it was all about balancing studies, council and my friends? I don’t know if I even balanced my friends in that case. Okay perhaps only work and work. But having always been a sentimental and people-centered person… well, people do grow afterall. They say family’s the best, and it never quite occured to me. I hope the passage will enlighten you like it did to me, after the 23421224 times of counselling from various teachers over the past year.

Another thing I understood and is finally convinced is something I’ve been crazily running away from because I don’t know.. I really don’t.

Yeah and DSA/DPA has been the hottest talk of the town amongst sec fours apart from the rumoured school closing for a week and all. I think I wouldn’t apply because I don’t know if I’d regret my choice and sad enough, I have no talents! No! Everything = no! Being sadded, I don’t think I’d apply. Oh and I bumped into Ruth just now and it was like after 3 years. Okay that’s pretty cool.

This is the first time I got tricked since getting into exco about 11 months ago. Arshad was damn good, he tricked Gracia and I into believing that today is the actual P5 camp training instead of the dry run. Maybe he tricked the other 2 tall towers too, I’m not too sure, but at least they didn’t believe him or were too busy to entertain him! Ho. Now we’re debating where to go for our outing and the conversation is getting damn funny I can laugh like a mad person. Literally. Some weird people keeps on insisting that if we stay indoors we’ll become vampires soon. Okay but school changed. At least the colors changed, our hall is green now and the doors are all coated with fresh baby blue paint. I nearly typed primrose paint, lol. I don’t knoor w why the hall is green, our school website is green as well, I don’t see how green has got to do with our school except the bush in the emblem as claimed by my juniors. The baby blue paint is beautiful in it’s way but the pillars are coated with the old shade of yellow which doesn’t quite match the doors in my opinion. The labels on the doors are still green. I think my eyes will go like *shines* on the first day of school. All the colors are pastel, but a little weird. I haven’t been back in school for two weeks!

Then caught up with Charolette, Gracia and Arshad during lunch over Pastamania. I love the marinara, except it’s price tag. I think Charolette eats pasta scarily, like with tabasco and chunks of parmesan cheese powder. Her pasta tasted like the raw apple cider I’ve always dread to gulp down my throat even with overloaded honey it doesn’t brings away the gluey smell and extremely acidic taste. AWW. And I am so down on cash, I used my mom’s money to buy her birthday cake can you imagine. Okay I only confessed today. Hahahaha and my mother was laughing from one end to the furthest end of the house. I mopped the floor as a compensation, in a way. Mopped twice under the weather, I could die. But it beats to washing vegetables for like 30 mins, 3 times. HAHA. Everyone’s hoping school will close. I hope it does even though it’s unlikely =.= looking at the bigger picture, O’s near, I shall not slack (:

I found and is done with with my chinese worksheets. Left with english, chemistry and social studies. And math questions I am not too sure about. Basically that’s all. Hoping to meet up with one woman this week and you may wish for holidays to extend for probably a week thanks to h1n1, flu virus A situation and the upcoming haze situation thanks to El Nino. I have studied that bloody crap for a zillion times but I still have no idea what’s El Nino and La Nina except that it occurs usually once in 7 years, in alternate pattern – a quite non explainable (at least in our syllabus) heating of the Pacific Ocean. Apparently studies have shown that the h1n1 virus has mutated to infect humans more easily. I hope the vaccine will be out sooner than the virus will mutate to destroy the human immune system at a faster rate. Sigh.

Yesterday night I finally went swimming after a million years of not swimming, I nearly could not find my card for entry into Safra as well. My swimsuit felt tighter than usual, an ominous sign of more fatty deposition in my body. I hope I managed to get it off swimming 40 laps yesterday. The first few laps felt like hell because I haven’t been swimming in the longest time.. got so long to get back the momentum and later, it turned dark so I left for home. Today was a relatively bad day. I woke up at like 1pm and got a shock of my life. I mean, I never woke up this late for a really long while. And the moment I opened my eye, everyone was gone. I had a very blissful dream this morning though. I dreamt of the entire Suukyi gathering together again (yes, our group is named after Aung San Suu Kyi) I miss everyone so much all out of a sudden. I dreamt of talking about life with Jocelyne, on our favourite topic, the meaning of life. I think Joce has been an encouraging individual.. I haven’t talked to her in a long while but through reading her blog, I think she is a person with deep thoughts and wants to contribute to the society exceptionally. That was a blissful dream that caused me to sleep till 1pm. Haha, when I left my house to get lunch, I suddenly thought of Huiying. Like I suddenly remember she seemed to message me. Then later I came home and check my phone to realise she didn’t. I threw my phone somewhere on the sofa, and accidentally pressed 3 – then dial. A while later, my phone rang. Huiying called. And I was totally like ??? cos I didn’t know I accidentally pressed my speed dial. Haha that was a bit like…hmm.. I don’t know? At night, I went for facial and end up with a horrendously disfigured face as usual. I can’t get out of my house till probably Monday and I might be going down for P6 camp in school. I figured out something like why do I always have to meet the exco a few days after my facial! Oh that reminds me to put the duty list on the council blog sometime soon.. and to complete my holiday homework. Sigh so fast, so fast! I came home and quarreled with my dad over something really unreasonable. To think tomorrow is Father’s Day and we were finally communicating well after quite a long while. But getting scolded for something not within my control is absolutely stupid. Like I got scolded for why was the facial taking so long and I didn’t come home in time to buy ingredients for dinner and the sky was so untimely to rain at that point of time when all the clothes were still hanging outside. The dinner ended up super salty as well and I could hardly swallow my food without a lot a lot of plain water. I am also having a slight headache or sort and a little bit of sore throat. My face hurts a lot too My mother came home and it was great, she bought me new earpiece knowing that my old one spoilt like as always. She was saying to buy me 10 pairs for my birthday. So now I have new earpiece, to anticipate more for SNSD’s Genie release! My current loves are still Kim Tae Woo’s Memory and Remembrance, 8eight’s Goodbye My Love and the oldie’s best, Frank Sinatra’s My Way & Robbie William’s Angels. I think 8eight is awesome! We must thank Sohee that they got famous. Thanks Joyce! Haha. That’s all for tonight, back to my bejeweled craze. I must get a really good score before someone comes back and beat mine easily. Of cos I have to wake up early tomorrow and FINISH my homework!

I am back! And now a passive smoker. Boo, hate Genting for it’s ultra bad indoors air thanks to smokas. I totally can’t stand them and about nearly 80% of Malaysians smoke, so I observed. Their service attitude can totally drive me up the ceiling. Okay but my trip was good and relaxing. Kimberly, it was cool there. The temperature ranged about 20-25 degree celcius when I was there? That’s a good 10 degrees celcius lower than that of the bloody hot temperature here in Singapore. And oh, when we came back today, we realized that there was a case of a Genting bus accident (on the day we left) and because my mother, sis and myself switched off our phones, we bloody didn’t know any crap at all until today when people started to call us asking if we were okay. We didn’t do anything much there actually except like a lot of walking and eating, I shall go swim tomorrow Anyway I typed my post last night! So I shall just c&p.

1st Day
The bus ride was a little jerky but we reached here within like 5 hours, that’s quite a record. Because we reached that early, we couldn’t check in to the hotel first. Oh yeah, I didn’t mention this, I haven’t been to Genting for 6 years or so already so everything, though didn’t quite change, seemed to be fresh to me even though some did evoke some memories! Of the good old days. I hate it that we’re old. Back to the point, cos we couldn’t check in, we went to have lunch first before queuing for an hour for check in. Btw, we got a really nice queue number, 2200. When we checked into our room, my sister and mum fell asleep and I was using my comp. They said for 15 mins which turned out to be an hour before we went to kbox to sing k. That was some awesome fun. Then walked around before watching Dreamz. Thank god it was some complimentary ticket thanks to my mum’s birthday cos that show was totally not worth like 80 ringit for the last corner seat at all. Not even to mention paying 200 ringit to sit right in front. There was supposedly white lion, white lion cub, white tiger, tiger and some white dog (sorry, I don’t study dogs) Basically they came out for 1 minute each. How worth the money but I loved the live band. I think the violinists were really good. We had noodles for supper before coming back to the hotel to rest.

On the second day, I woke up at 1040am. We showered and everything before heading out for brunch. We wanted to have this buffet at Genting Hotel, I am staying at Resort Hotel btw. But it only starts at 12pm. And that was when we realized the very good Malaysian workers. Because the buffet starts at 12pm, we went around trying to find something small to fill out stomachs cos we were a little hungry. We passed by this pastry shop and wanted to get something. Guess what did the guy say? “Oh, we’re not opened yet. We’ll only be open after I finish laying out these pastries” which were right in front of his face. Like seriously!! Can you imagine how much income he has helped the restaurant to lose. Haha joke, not. The buffet lunch was fine for 50 ringit. My mum’s like never full. Later we walked around and got tired so we came back to rest until dinner. Didn’t go into the theme park at all because of my phobia. I told my mother if we go in, I’d only play the carousel, those 3D/4D movie and at most, big splash and indoors roller coaster, if I am feeling a bit courageous. But we did walk pass, talk and all.

Okay yeay that’s about all for my trip! I came home, logged into fb and realized that Lana’s going America for GYLC today. Have fun! Woo alright and my dad told me I can change my phone already! Wheeeeeee I got $200 rebate. I am thinking if I should get a Pink Pixon or Ultra Tocco. Hopefully my phone doesn’t drops into water again. It really sucked cashing out the $300 to buy my K810i. Okay I shall go watch my show and go to bed Goodnight!

I want to get this!! HAHA to zip it all the way up my head so I can like sleepwalk, literally. Well, it’s urm, Colonize and cost $130 odd I think. Maybe I should save up a month to buy this. I really need a jacket. I flipped my wardrobe upside down to find one today for my short trip to Genting tomorrow. I have to wake up at 6am tomorrow and I am still online. Like I feel so smart. I really want to hunt for this piece of clothing. Colonize only has it in Grey cos the black and whites are all sold out. Maybe I should get the Grey one. Okay I hope I’ll get it a month later. I shall go sleep now. Bye earthlings! Looking forward to some peace and the coolness of air. But still pretty sure I’ll bump into someone. I took all my super like casual clothes. Basically all tshirts and shorts. As if I am going to the beach.So glad all the zits cleared off my face! Finally.. and bad news, facial on 19th. So hey hot man, I am coming back on thursday. HAHA.

Twice too many times

Okay, did nothing much today. I wanted to study but I ended up at northpoint buying the cake and some small gifts for my mother cos just at that point of time she went for a nap. I thought I would study at night then but the fireworks were too seductive and attractive that it got me out of my seat. So yeah, the fireworks was a magnificent sight. I think it’s so lucky of me to live here. I went down at about 8pm to get newspaper and cotton buds and I see people jaywalking across the road from my block to the field where the Crackers! is held. The best part was that the circle was already filled to the brim and it’s bloody warm tonight. So I rushed back home seeing a big crowd outside my house and they were starring at me going into my house. I feel lucky because I have the best views for this fireworks and I enjoy the fans, sofa and everything else at home. However, tonight’s fireworks weren’t as great as yesterday’s. Yesterday we’ve got the smoke coming into our house but the view was like perfect. Tonight’s view was better just the fireworks were poorer. I don’t really care cos I got to see them anyway (: My mom’s friend just gave birth today like the same day as my mother so like we might visit tomorrow! Or maybe I should just stay home and study. I hate myself for being so extremely very stupid.

Anyway, I’m in love with Kim Tae Woo’s Memory & Remembrance, his first comeback after military service. Speaking of korea, I hope Kim Jong Il will die soon for causing so much problems to the society and may his son be more empathic and sympathic towards his people’s sufferings from all the sanctions imposed on them as compared to his emotionless dad. Not that Mr. Lee is a lot better but still. It’s freaking bloody WARM tonight. Airrrrrrcoon..so glad I am going to a place of higher altitude, carrying lesser vapors, thus less bringing along with it less heat equates to a cooler environment. Yeah and I saw pink pixon today!! Even tho I’m more keen on getting an Ultra now thanks to Son Dambi’s ad for Anycall.
